In and around Dieppe by bike

With the opening in 2012 of the Avenue Verte bike route from London to Paris, Dieppe has gradually become a focal point for touring by bicycle, with the general support of the Seine Maritime Département and the town and district authorities of Dieppe. Three suggested bike tours:

1. The Avenue Verte

Following the route of a former railway line from Arques-la-Bataille, close to Dieppe, to Forges-les-Eaux, the Avenue Verte offers about 28 miles without hills without motor traffic, though you may have to share with roller skaters, horse riders and walkers and strollers

 

The route continues on to Paris and is signposted but you do have to share the road with cars. The website is carefully detailed and has much useful information for cyclists:
